Our giving spirit permeates through all we do at work and in the community.
Chesapeake Employers strives to positively impact the lives of Marylanders in need by supporting charitable organizations and causes that are based in Maryland or have a local chapter here. We volunteer our time, donate money, and provide resources in a variety of ways.
Chesapeake Employers is proud to share some of the ways our teammates volunteer in the community. Each year, teammates receive volunteer hours so they can help support local nonprofits.

Employees receive 12 volunteer hours annually to support area nonprofits and help them fulfill their mission. Additionally, some teammates serve on local nonprofit boards throughout the state.
Grants
Each year, Chesapeake Employers awards grants to Maryland-based charities or 501(c)(3) organizations that provide programs and services that support the education and development of children, strengthen families in need, and promote safety and health in the community and workplace.
Donations & Drives
Chesapeake Employers supports many charities that are near and dear to teammates' hearts by matching their donations individually or through our annual giving campaigns. Throughout the year, the company hosts numerous drives for food, school supplies, and clothing for nonprofits serving neighborhoods in need.
Scholarships
Chesapeake Employers is a founding sponsor of, and key contributor to, Kids’ Chance of Maryland, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to children of catastrophically or fatally injured workers in Maryland.
